Pipsqueak is of course a girl.  Like all the other Zhu Zhu hamsters (also referred to as Zu Zu), she loves to be petted, she loves to be loved, and she’ll chatter and squeak your ear off!  This one is especially curious, so watch out for her.  The nice thing about zoozoo pets is that they’re interactive, so your kids get to interact with them!

Every child wants a pet hamster, don’t they?  But it’s so hard to say yes to your child when you know who’s going to end up cleaning the cage, listening to that hamster wheel go round and round.  Who’s going to find the hamster when he gets loose?  And we know who’s going to feed him.

Hamsters generally live about 2 to 3 years and were only domesticated as recently as 1930.  They’re a wild creature, but have been easy to keep in captivity, and easy to breed.  Hamsters have very bad vision, but hamsters can hear extremely well and smell just as well.  If your child wants a hamster, maybe it’s easier to start him out with Zoo Zoo pets!
